Become a Patient

In order to become a new patient at Jokerst-Showers Chiropractic and Acupuncture Clinic call us at
(573) 635-2225 during normal business hours to schedule an appointment with Dr. Jamie Showers. We ask new patients to please arrive 15 minutes early with insurance identification cards so we may verify patient benefits prior to treatment and complete necessary paperwork. Your First Visit

Please allot an hour for your first visit. Your first visit with Dr. Jamie Showers will include a thorough history, consultation, and an examination including neurologic, orthopedic and chiropractic tests. In order to make an accurate diagnosis, Dr. Showers may ask to obtain x-rays or other imaging prior to treatment.

Based on the analysis of your examination and images, Dr. Showers will sit down with you and explain your exam findings, your condition and a recommended course of treatment. Visit the Services page to view the different treatments that Dr. Showers may provide.  If your condition and time permits, Dr. Showers will provide treatment on your first visit. 

If Dr. Showers feels that your case would be better treated by another discipline she will refer you to an appropriate physician.
